Joy H. Lewis, DO, PhD is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing medicine since 1995 and has 8 years rural internal medicine experience. She has been working as adjunct faculty at AT Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona since 2009. She received her DO from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Chicago. She is a former Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar. She is a recipient of a prestigious National Research Service Award Fellowship. She received her PhD in Health Services from the UCLA School of Public Health. She is certified to teach Evidence Based Medicine by McMaster University. Her independent research has appeared in major publication including NEJM.
